Courtney Elizabeth Key - The Greatest Intern, Ever!
It is hard to put into words all the great things that there are to say about Courtney. She is very intelligent, elegant, sophisticated, beautiful and is going to be the next mega superstar winemaker in the USA. She is a hard worker, dedicated and forgets nothing. She is simply brilliant. We give Courtney E. Key an A+.
She came to us in August of 2010. Courtney is from Dallas and graduated from Tulane with a degree in chemistry. In 2010 she was in a program to earn her Master’s Degree in Viticulture and Enology. One of the requirements for her degree was to put in some time as an intern with a commercial winery. Lucky for us, she chose FUQUA Winery to do her internship requirement. She changed FUQUA Winery forever!
Some photos of Courtney from New Orleans, North Africa and Europe before she came to FUQUA Winery.

Courtney's first week at FUQUA Winery.

Courtney working hard on the first wine she helped with, our 2010 Texas Hill Country Merlot.
Many trips to Pillar Bluff Winery to see Gill Bledsoe.

First of hundreds of parties Courtney helped us with. And the first of many Dallas Wine Trails.

We made Courtney to go to Grapefest in Grapevine. In good spirits, she had an interesting time.

We took classes at the T. V. Munson Center for Viticulture & Enology Studies at Grayson County College.

Courtney's Cuvée #1. Courtney's first attempt at putting a wine together and it was spectacular. Four medals including a Silver Medal at the 2011 Taster's Guild Wine Competition.

We even "forced" Courtney into having mani/pedis with us.

Having an interesting conversation with Courtney.
The last photo Courtney sent us from Europe, just before getting her Masters Degree in Viticulture and Enology.

We call this photo Courtney with french fries.
Courtney E. Key, simply the best intern we have ever had.
